We proudly re-introduce a new and improved tour - Lake Constance – a classic bicycling region bordering this famed lake, touching Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

With its stunning turquoise shore shared by all three countries, Lake Constance is a jewel in the crown of central Europe. It is a perfect location for a bicycle tour with comfortable inns and hotels and excellent cuisine.

Our route follows almost 200 miles of well marked bicycle paths. You'll marvel at the attractive surrounding countryside and neatly groomed villages. Lakeside paths meander from country to country taking in flower-strewn meadows, Bavarian vineyards and picturesque marinas.

Brimming with rich history, each day includes stops at cultural highlights and fairy-tale castles. We've designed our route so that you'll have ample time to explore the flower decked palaces in Konstanz and numerous village squares. Daily Itinerary

Lake Constance Switzerland, Austria & Germany Cycling Tour

Day 1. (Sunday – Germany) Meet in the medieval town of Constance, the largest town on Lake Constance. Constance is a one-hour direct train ride from the Zurich Airport. After a walking tour of the town we settle in to our 4-star hotel, followed by a reception and dinner.

Day 2. (Monday – Switzerland) Cycle from Constance to Stein am Rhein, noted for its famous well-preserved Old Town featuring painted facades and half-timbered 16th century houses. (30 km) After lunch enjoy a short drive to Schaffhausen and the Rheinfalls, Europe’s most powerful waterfalls. Lodge in Radolfzell.

Day 3. (Tuesday- Germany) Cycle from the old imperial town of Radolfzell to Meersburg. You'll be amazed at the apple orchards that surround this magical lake. Breathtaking lakeside views coupled with top notch riding along idyllic bike paths.

Day 4. (Wednesday – Germany) Enjoy a light day of riding or take a walking tour of the vineyards and local sights. A perfect day to enjoy a pastry and coffee in one of many local cafés. Lodge in Meersburg.

Day 5. (Thursday – Germany) Cycle to Friedrichshafen, home of the famous Zeppelin Musuem. After lunch continue to the Bavarian town of Lindau, surrounded by orchards and the lake with breathtaking views of the Alps.
Day 6. (Friday - Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Leaving Lindau, we'll be crossing the Rhine delta between Austria and Switzerland., an area of great natural beauty. Our final stretch takes us into the little lakeside resort of Rorschach through the Swiss canton of Thurgau and through well-kept villages along the lakeshore, back to our starting point of Constance.

Day 7. (Saturday) Depart from Constance.
