'Cead Mile Failte' (“A Hundred Thousand Welcomes”) rings out from this fabled land of history and charming villages. Ireland, a country of gracious and friendly people, ready to embrace a stranger with a warm smile or familiar song!

Discover the Emerald Isle, as we ride through some of the prettiest landscapes in Ireland. Brightly painted cottages, rustic pubs and colourful galleries line the streets, a perfect spot to explore after a day of cycling. We’ll begin in the southwest counties of Cork and Kerry where the weather is arguably the mildest in Ireland. The ancient seaside town of Kinsale, situated on the estuary of the Bandon River, is one of Ireland's most scenic harbours. Full of style and character, it was once an important naval base in the 17th and 18th centuries and today is still home to fishing vessels and sleek yachts. Enjoy Clonakilty, a town known for an international festival of music, and then on to the quiet harbour-side village of Baltimore known for it's sheltered location and boat building. We take a traditional ferry across Roaring Water Bay, peruse the markets of Bantry. A ride through the little town of Glengarriff with magnificent views of the Caha Mountains is sure to please. Kenmare, a colourful market town founded in 1670 by Sir William Petty, Cromwell's surveyor-general, is home for our final two nights. Among the towns many sights is the finest example of a stone circle over 3000 years old, consisting of 15 stones with a "burial boulder" in the middle.

Lush countryside, Celtic history, idyllic cycling routes, coupled with beautiful inns and the friendly people of Ireland, all make for an invigorating vacation and lasting memories. Join us as we capture the essence of Ireland.
