Prince Edward Island, popularly known as P.E.I., is a cyclist’s dream. Jacques Cartier was quite accurate when in 1534 he noted that P.E.I. is “ the fairest land ‘tis possible to see.” Our tour begins with two nights in Charlottetown, capitol city and a “must see.” The Great George, newly renovated lodging
in the historic part of town, presents a great introduction to this intriguing island. We include a night at Charlottetown’s theatre to enjoy the delightful production Anne of Green Gables.

The island abounds with history, legends, natural beauty, and rural hospitality. Visitors are especially impressed with its colors - emerald green hills, blue waters, white sand, and red cliffs. Cyclists can delight in the rural countryside with its gently rolling hills, patchwork of farms, 19th century churches, lighthouses, and weathered fishing villages.

Our tour offers more than the best in bike riding. Beautiful villages, excellent lodging, live theater, seafood delights, and a visit to the historic House of Green Gables add a special touch to this island paradise.

From the U.S. one can drive to P.E.I. from either New Brunswick (via a 8-mile long bridge) or Nova Scotia (ferryboat). Flights to Halifax, Nova Scotia, with connections to P.E.I., are available from the U.S. From Toronto one can fly directly to Charlottetown.
