Daily Itinerary

Day One
Arrive at Kinsale our home for the first two nights. Once we settle in we’ll enjoy a short guided walking tour of this beautiful village. Bike fitting & orientation, followed by a welcome dinner in Kinsale.
Day Two
After breakfast we cycle to the cliffs of Old Head. On the way explore a ruined castle and watchtower from the time of Napoleonic Wars.  After the ride guests will have time to explore Kinsale and enjoy lunch in one of the many fine restaurants and pubs. (25 or 33 miles.)
Day Three
A beautiful ride, through rolling terrain and lush countryside to the quiet  fishing village of Baltimore with views of the Atlantic coastline along the way.  Lunch is the market town of Clonakilty.  (27, 45, or 55 miles.)
Day Four
A short walk to the Baltimore pier where we board a ferry for a scenic ride to the town of Schull (also spelled Skull) where our bikes await.  From here we cycle to Ballylickey and the Sea View House hotel, our home for the next two nights.  (21 or 29 miles.) 
Day Five
Today we explore the coastal area of Bantry Bay , one of the most beautiful places in Ireland .  We end at Sheep’s Head Peninsula, a narrow strip of land offering stunning ocean views.  (29 or 35 miles.)
Day Six
Magnificent views of the Caha Mountains and the wooded valleys surrounding the village of Glengarriff today. Continue to Kenmare, with sweeping views of Kenmare Bay on our way to the Lansdowne Arms Hotel for our last two nights.  (19, 26, or 33 miles.)  Guests on own for dinner tonight. 
Day Seven
Cycle past quiet bays and stunning coastal seascapes.  The Beara Peninsula boasts abundant historical sites, including burial grounds and churches. This afternoon you’ll have a chance to explore the 3000 year old stone-circle in Kenmare.  (30, 33, or 62 miles.) 
Day Eight
After breakfast a morning shuttle back to Cork Airport .
